About Me

My name is Sarah and I work in healthcare by day and dabble in mixed media arts by night (or at least when I can). I had minimal art education growing up but during the pandemic found Sarah Cray (an amazing watercolor teacher and artist) and fell in love immediately with watercolor. It was such a needed distraction from everything that was happening at work and in our lives.

Since then I have found there are so many incredible art education resources online and over the past few years have expanded my hobby to include all things mixed media. I still love watercolors, but I also love mixed media art journaling, making my own journals, and making cards for loved ones. Signing the back of my cards inspired the name Love By Sarah Designs. 

I plan to cover a wide range of topics on my blog such as current inspiration and projects, some tutorials, and more as I grow along my art journey.
